CTET- Central Teacher Eligibility Test

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) conducts CTET, which is a national-level teacher eligibility test. This examination is conducted every year to select eligible candidates for appointment as teachers in central government schools like KVS, NVS, etc.

It is a computer-based examination consisting of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2). Paper 1 is for primary teachers (classes 1 to 5) and Paper 2 is for elementary teachers (classes 6 to 8). Candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 8 can appear for both papers. In each paper, there are a total of 150 questions. 1 mark will be given for each correct answer and no negative marking will be given for wrong answers.

UPTET- Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test

UPTET is a state-level examination conducted to determine eligible candidates to teach in primary and upper primary-level schools in Uttar Pradesh. This examination is conducted by UPESSC- Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB).

The examination is conducted in two shifts for two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2). Paper 1 is for those candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 is for those who want to teach classes 6 to 8. However, those candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 8 will have to appear in both papers.

This examination is conducted once a year through an offline medium. The duration of the examination for each paper is 150 minutes. 1 mark will be allotted for each correct answer and no negative marking will be done.

Super TET- Super Teacher Eligibility Test

Super TET is a state-level teacher eligibility test conducted by UPBED-Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board to recruit candidates for teaching posts in primary (class 1 to 5) and upper primary (class 6 to 8) level government schools across the state. This examination is conducted every year by the Uttar Pradesh government in offline mode. Candidates must have qualified for the CTET or UPTET exam to appear in this exam.
